American Capital Agency corp and Lunsford Investments

Lunsford Investments , is on buying shares of American Capital Agency corp.
American Capital Agency , is a very strong REIT. The shares are trading around $30.00. Which maybe high if you , look at other REIT's. Such as CIM and MFA , and Northstar. Which are trading between 4 and 10 dollars per share.

However , unlike the those REIT's , that pays a Dividened from .40 to $1.00. American Capital Agency , pays a whopping $5.60 per share.
That is music to my wallet. The best thing about America Capital , is that Lunsford Investments , is still moving forward in the Real Estate.

Instead of buying the Real Estate Properties , Lunsford Investments is buying Real Estate Investments Trust. With the market , still down. These is the best time for me , to move forward in the Market. It gives my small business , time to grow.

Not only to grow , but to earn a profit. I look at America Capital Agency , CIM , Northstar , and MFA. And other REIT's. As a Fresh Start , and the other Companies that Lunsford Investments , Invest in to as a Gold right now.

Lunsford Investments , goal is not to be Bigger and Better , than Berkshire Hathaway , or any other Holding Companies. I as owner want Lunsford Investments , to be able to hold it is own on Wallstreet. By making smart Investments , that will help move it forward.

And that is why I , have choosen to buy in to these REIT's. And in closing , Lunsford Investments , will stick to ther goal , to grow.

Thank you
Owner of
Lunsford Investments.

Where the Money is on Wallstreet

The real Money on WALLSTREET , is in REIT's.

Another REIT is MFA Financial , and Dynex Capital INC. Which is all top REIT's that the Shares start of around 4 to 12 dollars per share. To earn great Dividends , on your Investments might not be a Sexy Play on WALLSTREET. But , for the bottom line is to make a PROFIT !!!

That should be the only drive , in your Investments. As owner of Lunsford Investments . It is my job to make a Profit and to keep cost Down. And for right now , the Real Money On WALLSTREET , are in REIT's.

How you Hedge Chimera

This how Lunsford Investments , Hedge in the Market.
For Example , Chimera Investments. As I started looking into Chimera , I discovered it is a spin off company . Wholly Owned by Annaly Capital Management, Inc.

So , I started buying Annaly Capital Management . However , I looked into Annaly Capital, and I discovered another outstandind fact. Chimera , is not there only side company. There are more ,there are RCap ,FIDAC, Merganer,CreXus, and of course Chimera.

Lunsford Investments , is buying Chimera , CreXus, and Annualy Capital Management.
This is how I'm Hedging Chimera. The same threory can be done with PEPSI , you can buy PEPSI , and PEPSI Bottleing Company. This is how , a little research and time can do for your money and your Investments.

For everyone of this companies ties into each-other. Now , Chimera and the others are REITS , and you are buying into companies that are paying back about 90% of there profits back to the Investors.

I have found that REITs are a strong way to help fight off the Bears. And if you can Hedge , these REIT's than your Profits will become just stronger , to fight off the Bears.

ANH is now part of Lunsford Investments

Lunsford Investments is now Investing into Anworth Mortgage.

As owner of Lunsford Investments , I am turning the page. The numbers do not Lie . The profit from REIT's , are to good for my company to not Invest into. My mom and dad taught me , well.
The Truth is in the numbers. Do the math for yourself. And you to will see that REIT's will make you a Profit.

Lunsford Investments , is not moving away from Stocks , not at all. Everyday , I wake up and my mind goes to work. On how to be make my Company Grow. REIT's are just another sold Investments to grow my Company.

And with the Strong Dividends from the REIT's , I can turn around and BUY more Company Stocks. The WAR is on , and you or anyone should not FIGHT IN A WAR , unless you are willing to WIN that WAR !!!

This was started four years ago , I did not start this WAR . However , I will fight it. Four years ago when I lost my Job , House and Land, my Girlfriend, and most of all my son. That Started the WAR , I spent the last few years studying and doing the research on the Market.
And when the Market went down , I saw the chance to move into the Market. And then a year later , I filled the papers to form Lunsford Investments.

Now, back today .
I am smarter and more stronger than I have ever been. I will make this Company Grow and one day , when I can either pass it down to my only son. That is if he wants the company, or I will just sell it.

I hope that my only son , would want to take over Lunsford Investments.

Lunsford Investments is turning to Real-Estate Investment Trusts

As owner of Lunsford Investments , I am turning to Real-Estate Investments Trusts. Also known as REIT's. The REIT's that Lunsford Investments , are buying. The past few weeks it was CIM. This coming week , NRF and CIM.

And the last week of July , it will be CIM, NRF , CMO , and CYS.

Why , is Lunsford Investments is buying REIT's ?
The answer is simple the DIVIDENDS.

Yes , the Dividends on these REIT's are around 18%. And the shares are around $3.00 to $13.00 .

Lunsford Investments , is about making smart and profitable Investments.

Well , these are the buys for Lunsford Investments , through July 2010.

Chimera Investment Corp

Lunsford Investments , has just bought into Chimera Investment Corp .
And I am very exited about this Investment. The stock is priced around of $3.70 a share. Which pays a Dividend of 18% which is 68 cents a share. So , Lunsford Investments , is ready to buy 100 shares. That will come out to $17.00 every three mths.
The $68.00 profit from $370 Investment. Not to bad. In way my fellow investors , think of it this way. $370 mth could be a car payment . So , if Lunsford Investments buys 100 shares a mth. By the end of the year . That would be 12,000 shares. Which the dividend payout at the end of the year would be $816 from a $4440 investment.

Which is the bottom line for Lunsford Investments, to make a Profit.

Lunsford Investments is Holding Midwest Bank

Three years ago Midwest Bank was trading for $17.50 a share. Five years ago Midwest Bank was trading for $25.00 a share. Ten years ago Midwest trading for as high as #30.00 a share.
Today , Midwest Bank is trading for .03 cents a share. Wow , what a drop or is it aperfect time to buy ?
Ia m going for both. For it being down so low , it is the perfect time to buy. For what goes down must come back up.

Many banks has fallen , and some banks has fallen so far that they closed the doors for good. Midwest Bank is hanging in the game , for good or bad they are fighting to stay in business.

Lunsford Investments has already bought 350 shares , and is ready to buy even more.
Three mths ago Midwest Bank , was trading for .35 cents a share. Hmmm , it fell in all the way down to .03 cents a share ?

Why , I believe that is too good to be true . This investment will make Lunsford Investments , a boat load of money.

So , I will Buy and Hold this Midwest Bank Stock.

Lunsford Investments is coming close to owning 10,000 shares

Lunsford Investments is coming close to owning 10,000 shares , in 19 different companies.
My goal for my company , is to own 20,000 shares , buy the end of this the year.

Lunsford Investments , is working hard to become a player in the Market. It will be a long hard tuff road to make Lunsford Investments , into a real player in Wallstreet.

To own a Million shares of stock will put Lunsford Investments , on the map.

And , that is the true goal for my company.

Lunsford Investments is buying shares of Inding Energy and Mid West Bank Holding

I have been wanting to move toward Oil and Natural Gas . And Into a Bank. The problem was which way to Invest ?
I could have went with the Big Boys, but I have picked out a couple of small companies in these fields.

Indigo Energey for the Oil and Gas , trading for .03 cents a share. And Midwest Bank Holdings , which is trading for three cents aswell.

Lunsford Investments , has already bought 1121 shares of Indigo. And I have setup my account to buy 1000 shares a mouth , of Indigo Energy. The reason for this strong move to buy into Indigo , clear and simple. A up and coming INDEPENDENT COMPANY.

Just like Lunsford Investments is a Independent company.

Now, about Midwest Bank Holdings, is a little different. The Bank , was moving strong just about a year ago. Just over a $1.oo share. I believe in time Midwest will rebound from these hard times of the Markert.

And Lunsford Investments , is about helping companies grow . Big or small , I will look into them and pick the best ones for my company to Hold.

As the mouths go on we will see , if Indigo and Midwest Bank Holdings. Are good Investments.

Six Flags , was a mistake

Six Flags , was a mistake. For Lunsford Investments.

Lunsford Investments , lost all of my Investment in Six Flags. With the rebuilding of the Six Flags Company.

Now, The stock Symbol was SIXFQ. Now , is worth nothing. The Stock Symbol will be SIXF.
So , when Six Flags , returns back to OTC. I have to make a Choice to Invest back into the Company.

I still believe Six Flags , would be a good fit for Lunsford Investments.
Only time will tell , if I move my Company back into Six Flags Inc.

Tuesday, April 20, 2010

Six Flags is now part of Lunsford Investments

Holding Company in Oklahoma

Lunsford Investments , goal is to help build companies. With one Business Investment at a time. With each Investment , Lunsford Investments grows. I am proud of the company that I have started . And with every Investment , that I make on behalf of Lunsford Investments. I will support each one of these companies , that I Invest in.

By buy and hold their stock , and keep Investing in these companies. Buying there common stock , Lunsford Investments is becoming part part owner of these companies. And as any owner should do , is try to grow there company. Which in part is what I am doing.

Today is a new day , for Lunsford Investments. With trading day over with , my day is just starting . Now , I am looking at other companies and there spreedsheets and do my research. AS any good Investor should do. If they want to be in Business then the day never ends. Just like Gordon Gekko, said " Money Never Sleeps Pal ".

I am a firm believer in that statement. Money Never Sleeps , aalways look on how to improve your business. And that will grow your business .

Another good Investment for Lunsford Investments

Another good Investment for Lunsford Investment.
Here is the Story.

Google Inc. said Friday that it finished its $124.6 million purchase of On2 Technologies Inc. after shareholders of On2 voted to approve the deal.

Google said that as per its agreement with the maker of video compression technology, outstanding On2 common shares will be converted to the right to 15 cents per share and 0.0010 of a share of Google common stock. Cash will be paid in lieu of any fractional shares, Google said.

Google also said it plans to buy back the same number of its shares that it issued through the purchase. The company will fund the buybacks with cash on hand.

When the purchase was announced in August, the companies valued the deal at about $132 million.

Google shares ended regular trading down $2.46 at $540.76.

I did not know of this deal. It was just luck of the draw. On2 Tech was a Investment that I have been looking at for a few weeks. I just wish I would have bought more shares of On2 , before the buy out.

So , now I own a little piece of Google. Thanks Google. Too Bad you did not let me buy more shares of On2 before you took over the company.

Doing Business As a Holding Company

With a outlook on Investments. I have changed on the way I look at stocks. For example I was investing in what I call the Blue Chippers. The big Companies that pays a Dividend to their Shareholders.

Now , I am looking at Small Cap Companies , some people call them Penny Stocks. I however , see these Companies as another way to grow Lunsford Investments . In the long term. Yes , to buy and these companies as I do my Blue Chippers.

For example why is Six Flags trading at .10 cents a share ? I see Six Flags going back up to at-least $2.50. So I bought into Six Flags. Another example would be Midwest Bank. Why , is Midwest trading at .31 cents ? Most Small to Mid Cap Banks trade around $3 to 5 Dollars a share. In my opion. There is On2 Tech , trading at .69 cents a share . I believe this company will be like Sirius XM , and trade above $1.00.

These Companies , will grow and so will Lunsford Investments. For a bonus I will add one more to the list as-well, Blue Jet Airlines. Trading at $5.00 and change , I do believe Blue-Jet will rise to around the $10.00 mark.

Lunsford Investments will Invest in small and large companies , now and in the future.

Owning a Business through Common Stock

Common stock

Common stock is aptly named -- it's the most common form of stock an investor will encounter. This is an ideal investment vehicle for individuals, because anyone can take part; there are absolutely no restrictions on who can purchase common stock -- the young, the old, the savvy, the reckless. Common stock is more than just a piece of paper; it represents a proportional share of ownership in a company -- a stake in a real, living, breathing business. By owning stock -- the most amazing wealth-creation vehicle ever conceived (except for inheriting money from a relative you've never heard of) -- you are a part-owner of a business.

Shareholders "own" a part of the assets of the company and part of the stream of cash those assets generate. As the company acquires more assets and the stream of cash it generates gets larger, the value of the business increases. This increase in the value of the business is what drives up the value of the stock in that business.

Because they own a part of the business, shareholders get a vote to elect the board of directors. The board is a group of individuals who oversee major decisions the company makes. They tend to wield a lot of power in corporate America. Boards decide whether a company will invest in itself, buy other companies, pay a dividend, or repurchase stock. Top company management will give some advice, but the board makes the final decision. The board even has the power to hire and fire those managers.

As with most things in life, the potential reward from owning stock in a growing business has some possible pitfalls. Shareholders also get a full share of the risk inherent in operating the business. If things go bad, their shares of stock may decrease in value. They could even end up being worthless if the company goes bankrupt.

A Dear John Letter to Friends

This is a letter to these to guys , that I know.

Now, these to guys that they were smarter than myself. Always talking down to me. However, I just smiled and thought , they do not mean any harm.

Well , I guess they did , because three and a half years ago. They stabed me in the back. But , that was then and this is now.

One is a Xray tech that works a hospital , and the other was so lazy that he did not work for about five years and lived off his wife. Which he cheated on many times. That is her problem not mine. Now , back to the Dear John letter.

I tried to talk to you both at different times . But you two guys still acted like you was better than me. Why ? You two did far much worse , than I ever did.
I am not going to spell the beans , well atleast not right now.

I am just going to get the point. I don't care if you , loose your job. Your house your wife . Your money . Or everything you ever cared about that is your problem. Not mine.

I am doing fine with my job. And my Investing. Matter a fact I am doing , really well at Investing.

Which I am very proud of myself , from the all the hard work that I put in to it. And the Joy , that I have from the results.
Well , have a good life. Or have a awful life I do not care either way.

Like Donald Trump said , " When People that you know has , scrwed you . SCREW THEM BACK WHEN YOU HAVE THE CHANCE " !

Boys you have your warning stay away from me and my Business.

Sirius XM Radio posts subscriber growth for 4Q, expects full-year cash flow of $100 million

Sirius XM Radio shares jumped Wednesday after the company said it added 257,000 subscribers in the fourth quarter and expects to report $100 million in free cash flow.

The stock jumped 5.8 cents, or 8.6 percent, to 72.6 cents.

Sirius offered signs late last year that it was starting to turn itself around after being battered by falling auto sales. It signs up many of its new subscribers when they buy vehicles. In the third quarter it shrunk its loss to $149.2 million from $4.9 billion a year earlier.

On Tuesday, Sirius said it ended the year with roughly 18.8 million subscribers, up from 18.5 million at the end of the third quarter. It marks the second consecutive quarter of net growth.

The company said preliminary figures show it made about $100 million in free cash flow — or cash after capital costs — for the full year. Assuming the company's July 2008 acquisition of XM had been fully integrated, that would be up from negative cash flow of $552 million the year before, Sirius said.

ING Direct is better than the Big Banks

ING Direct is better than the Big Banks. Check out these numbers.

These are the rates on CDs from the the big banks.

Bank of America: 0.10% APY on all balances

Wells Fargo: 0.05% on balances up to $25,000

Citi: 0.25% with a $500 minimum balance

JPMorgan Chase: 0.01% all balances

Now , ING has rates for CDs starting at 1.25 APY . What are your banks rates for CDs ?

ING rates for there Savings Accounts start at 1.25 APY . And there Orange Checking accounts start at .25 APY up to 1.45 APY.

Why are these rates so great for ING ? And why are Big Banks fail on their rates ?

The Answer is Greed . The Big Banks are Greedy.

I just opened up a CD with ING , I already have a Savings Account with them as well. I also buy Stocks through there ShareBuilder account.

One of the CD plans with ING , is you can set up a Ladder of CDs. 6 mths 12 mths, 18 mths, 24 mths. And so on. And you can them have roll into eachother after their term.

Just another great way to make good money off your investments.

Jim Cramer’s 2010 Counterterrorism Stock Picks

It seems every market pundit has their outlook picks for 2010, and Jim Cramer is no different. Last night was Cramer’s “Energy Shortage Stock Picks for 2010″ and on CNBC’s MAD MONEY tonight Cramer gave his featured stock picks in the Homeland Security and anti-terrorism sector. Considering the recent failed plane bombing attempt on Christmas Day, this sector enjoyed much interest last week. Cramer believes the real counter-terrorism stocks that are not the garbage speculative names are American Science & Engineering Inc. (NASDAQ: ASEI), OSI Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: OSIS), FLIR Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: FLIR), and Cogent, Inc. (NASDAQ: COGT). His big feature and review stock for charts and fundamentals was in Nice Systems Ltd. (NASDAQ: NICE). Cramer did note that some of these are still up very big from lows and might need to be bought on pullbacks.

American Science & Engineering Inc. (NASDAQ: ASEI) scans for bombs and weapons in transportation systems and it has a $150 million order backlog with a market ten-times the company’s current revenues. OSI Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: OSIS) is a new pick from Cramer and it rose from $22.02 before Christmas and went briefly over $28.00 to new recent highs before pulling back. Its 52-week trading range is $11.01 to $28.49. This one screens people and can detect materials inside clothing.

FLIR Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: FLIR) is Cramer’s pick in security and surveillance that protects major companies and government facilities. FLIR closed at $32.72 and its 52-week trading range is $18.81 to $33.35. Cogent, Inc. (NASDAQ: COGT) is Cramer’s pick for fingerprint and palm scanning technology. Cogent closed at $10.28 and its 52-week trading range is $7.96 to $12.92.

Cramer also featured and reviewed Nice Systems Ltd. (NASDAQ: NICE) over tracking terrorism suspects based upon software for abnormal behavior for counter-terrorism and over phone surveillance. He then reviewed the chart. The chart looks solid to him because of higher highs and higher lows. The Real Money writer believes it has room to run up to $40.00 and is not really extended on its chart. The November lows came on very high volume that shook out the sellers. Cramer believes this one has been ignored entirely by the terrorism stocks and can have camera to camera reviewing. It has $500 million, about $8.00 per share, is looking for more acquisitions to make, and trades cheap at 18-times earnings.
